I hope you’re enjoying a great Labor Day weekend with your loved ones. Here are the key updates to help you plan ahead:

1. Shaw Website: “Our School” → “Latest News”
   For timely updates, announcements, and resources, visit the Shaw Website and navigate to Our School → Latest News.

2. Picture Day is coming on Thursday, September 4!

   • Order online: Go to mylifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID: EVT9KWBSZ.

   • FREE shipping if you order before midnight on Picture Day.

   • Pay in person (optional): Your child may bring the completed flyer with cash or check on Picture Day.

   • After Picture Day: Orders must be placed online only at mylifetouch.com.

3. Girls’ Basketball — Coaches Needed
   We’re looking for two coaches to support our girls’ basketball program this season. If you’re interested or would like more information, please contact our Athletic Director, Ali Moss, at amoss@washoeschools.net.

4. Basketball Tryouts & Game Schedule (Attachment)
   Please see the attached document for girls’ basketball tryout dates and the upcoming games schedule.

What a great start to the school year! Thank you for the warm smiles, teamwork, and positive energy you’ve brought to campus. We’re excited to keep the momentum going—go Coyotes!

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Picture Day (by team) — Sept 4–5

   • Teams 1, 2, and 3: Thursday, September 4

   • Teams 4 and 5: Friday, September 5
     
     You can place your order on mylifetouch.com using your Picture Day ID: EVT9KWBSZ. Order before midnight on Picture Day to get FREE shipping!
     Your child can also bring their completed flyer with cash or check on Picture Day. Orders after Picture Day must be placed online only on mylifetouch.com.

2. Weekly Community Messages
   Look for these emails every Sunday to help your family plan the week ahead.

3. Infinite Campus: Grades, Attendance & Classroom Fees
   Parents/guardians, please continue checking Infinite Campus to monitor grades, attendance, and any missing assignments.
   Classroom fees can now be paid in Infinite Campus as well—step-by-step directions are attached.

4. Join or help the Shaw Booster Club
   Interested in supporting our students, athletics, and activities? Please see the attached flyers for how to join or help out.

5. Coyote Sports Kickoff (6th Grade Soccer)
   Our season opens Thursday next week with 6th grade boys’ & girls’ soccer vs. the Swope Panthers at Swope MS. Come cheer on our Coyotes!

6. E-Bike Reminder from School Police
   A friendly safety reminder: motorized/electric bikes must have pedals to be allowed on campus.
